At 18 years old, I was walking in a trikini (yes, a three-piece swimsuit) in the most-watched show in my country. It was the night of Miss Venezuela, and I was one of the contestants.

I loved reading and was studying to become a lawyer, but my fate changed when I grew to 5' 10'' and my appearance changed. Since the Miss Venezuela experience, I have been interested in how looks and communication affect how we relate. I never abandoned my reading obsession, so I cultivated my interest in aesthetics with a broad range of books and my curiosity in art. Professionally, I became a writer and producer, crafting stories daily with the tools offered by new video platforms and the accuracy of my journalism background.

After ten years of working in media, I decided to become a freelancer and dedicate more time to other types of storytelling. Two years later, I have a weekly column in a portal from my home country where I explore the intersections of beauty, culture, and current affairs in Spanish (You can subscribe to the newsletter version below). Simultaneously, I help clients tell their unique stories through branding, content development, and communications.
